Rice Cereal Experiment
I conducted an experiment to see whether Anna would do better at night... I mixed formula with rice cereal. There were no faces of disgust or anything, seems like she quite likes it... but that's what I thought about carrots too in the beginning. She kept grabbing the spoon, jamming it into her mouth. I had to keep a good grip on it, so it wouldn't end up between her tonsils. At night she slept from 6:30 till almost 1 o'clock again. Now, is it because of the cereal or because I didn't make her sleep in her babybag? Anyway, I believe she burns more calories these days and only milk doesn't cut it for her anymore, hence no weightgain the last few weeks.This is her trying to get her toy.

Kisses for me and my Dino
Hi there! I wanted to share with you how affectionate I can be.In the morning I like to give my dino a lot of kisses (while my Mama is having breakfast) until he says it's enough.
I don't know what he's complaining about. At least he doesn't need to shower anymore once I'm done with him, but of course I'd take him into the tub with me if he wanted to.
When my Daddy comes home, Iiiii get kisses. I like that. Mama says that when he is not home giving me kisses, he is at "work". I don't like that place.
Yesterday Mama and me went to our Thursday lunch where we meet other people my size and their Mamas. Miles was there too. The whole point of us going there is so they can get us naked and put us on scales before and after we've eaten. I was a bit embarrassed at first to have people check out my little butt, but hey, everyone does it. Now Mama is slightly upset that I haven't gained any weight in three weeks. But I tell you what: Everyone can lose or gain weight. Keeping your weight, that's what they all struggle with, but I've got it all figgured out. Mama says I can't just stop at 14 pounds though. She says I won't look right once I'm 6 feet tall, unless I want to be a supermodel. I told her I want to keep my options open.
I think Miles got jealous when I was holding my buddy Ben's hand yesterday, so he took some other little girl's pants off, to pay me back. That is my fault, apologies. Let me just say: I like my boys all the same, no hard feelings please.

Anna's First Playdate
Yesterday, Anna went on a playdate with her buddy Miles which was good fun. Myles is one month older than her and can turn over already... in fact he rolls himself all over the place. Watching him do that gave her ideas too and she did much better with tummy time. She also decided to let her hair grow out now.
(A note to Aidan: Eventhough the two are holding hands in this picture, Anna's little heart only beats for you ;)
As for last night, she was up pretty much every hour from 9pm. We think she might be teething too now.

Back on Track
I know, I've been slacking off, keeping things updated. Anna has been giving me a terrible time over the past week. Her naps are still only about 30 minutes long (she prefers to spend time with me, what can I say), so she gets crankier as the day progresses. Right now, I got her to crash pretty hard in her swing. It's been over an hour, but I know, that I won't be able to stick her in there for much longer. It's a pity the crib doesn't move much.At night she wakes up around midnight now, then at 2:30 and at 4:30 to be fed.... that doesn't take account of all the other times she wakes up and wants to eat, just to find that I put her binky back in... that gives me another 30 minutes until she's back. We hate growth spurts.
We also stopped the solid foods for now. Anna decided that she actually is not so interested anymore... that gives me some time to figgure out how the hack to get rid off those carrot stains on her clothes.
Anyway, these are some pretty recent pictures of her.
We've moved.
Anna and I have decided to move to Blogspot for her blog, as it is easier to publish pictures over here, and even video (thanks for the inspiration, Christen). I've managed to customize a cute skin for her and now let's all get started ;)
