A Rug for the Baby
Anna is getting very mobile lately. So mobile, she rolled herself off her numerous play gyms and mats, hitting her little head on the hard floor. So last week we made a family trip to a carpet wholesale place and got her an 8x11 rug... as you see we are heading towards babyproofing the house now... next project is the fireplace.She turns herself from her back to her belly a lot. She also started doing that in her crib now and even napped on her belly once. Unfortunately, she gets stuck and she whines until someone comes and turns her back over. She also uses her legs to push herself around on the floor, reaching for toys. She'll need some more time to realize that she needs to push herself off the floor with her hands too. It can't be much longer though. Sitting works quite well too, but she falls over when you don't expect it.
