Stupid Beta Version !!!

Unfortunately, I updated this blog to the new blogspot beta version, so now I cannot use Picasa anymore to upload pictures but more importantly, I cannot use videoegg to put new videos on here. What I've done instead, I've put a little box into the bar on the left which shows the clips I have uploaded to youtube.com
I really don't like that solution much, but that's the best I can come up with right now. I'll keep trying though.

Me Want Food

I think I'm old enough to feed myself now. Mama and Daddy don't seem to think so. I don't know what they're complaining about, but you could still see parts of my clothes when I was done using those spoons.

When Daddy walked with me past the fruit bowl, I helped myself to an apple. Daddy helped with the eating.

Thanksgiving

We had a little get together for Thanksgiving. Kathi, Simone and Jan (to the right) came and we also had Manuela and Brandon over, who just moved into the area a few months ago. Everyone brought a couple of dishes and Henry, our Turkey, made himself comfy at 325 degrees (he must have felt awefully cold in the freezer). My personal favorite were the mashed potatoes. Apart from the good food, Kathi and I had a blast.

I hope everyone reading this had as good a Thanksgiving as I did.

Miles and Carter are leaving me !!!

My buddies Miles and Carter are moving to San Diego next month. I don't know where that is, but I've heard it's awefully far away, so they can't come to our playgroup anymore. That makes me very sad :( I'll miss you boys a lot! Mama says she'll miss your Mommies and Daddy says he misses San Diego.

This is Miles after he had eaten his whole birthday cake last week. He really dug in good.

My First Pair of Shoes

Mama bought me my very first pair of shoes last week, cause I walk... I mean run.. so much. Ever since yesterday I've been walking short distances without anyone's help... mostly from Daddy to Mama and back. Mama says I'm growing up waaaay too fast. Have I mentioned that I now have a grand total of six (6) teeth (2 on the bottom and 4 on top)?! It's so much easier to bite food, it's ridiculous. Anyways, I like my shoes, their pretty comfy. Mama says it's a good thing we have a brand new outlet mall in town, so she can afford to buy me new shoes once these get too small in about two months. I suppose that's good, but I told her she shouldn't worry too much about them shoes.... we're in South Carolina, you know. As long as I have a pair of overalls, I'm good.

Fun at Home

Seems like all my recent posts involve my friend Katharina. Well, here she is again, cause I really like her! Her Mama went to get her hair cut and dyed, so in the meantime Katharina got to hang out with me. We get along great, despite the huuuge age difference of three months. Maybe in three months I'll have as much hair as her, too. Katharina says she didn't miss her Mama while she was gone, but she can't fool me. I missed my Mama too, when I spent the whooole day at Katharina's house yesterday, while Mama went to listen to some ladies talk about food and breastfeeding. But don't worry, I was civil the whole time.

I've discovered my basket of books and that I like to sit slightly elevated. From up here I was trying to call Daddy at work to read him the story about the ten little ladybugs, but I didn't follow military protocol, wasn't put through, and Daddy missed out. Sorry, Daddy :(

Halloween Party

Katharina and I went to Jacob's Halloween party on Sunday. It was fun. There were lots of treats and we got to dress up. Mama played upside down baby with me. I love it when she does that.

Trick or Treat !

We had a blast trick or treating in Katy's neighborhood. My German friend Katharina came along too. Her Mommy and Daddy were amazed by the Halloween culture. I found my costume slightly too warm but Mama says she had no clue it would be this warm at the end of October. Oh well, even if I sweat, I only smell of roses.
