St. Nick was here December 6th
The night of December 6th, St. Nickolaus comes to all German children. Maybe he'll come to other children, too, if they follow the directions. We need to have our boots all cleaned outside our door with our christmas wish list in it before we go to bed. He'll come and take the wish list and fill up your boots with candy or coal, depending on whether we've been naughty or nice. I don't know what he thought of me, cause I got socks and a toy. We also went over to Kathi's house and took some pictures with our silly Santa hats... but that's not a German St. Nick's Day tradition, that's just our parents being weird.
